MEET THE BOARD

Theressa L. Stephens

UR Agricore Board Member | Early Childhood Director & Owner of Church Childcare Center, Inc. & Church Childcare Plus | Director since 1998

Theressa L. Stephens is the director and owner of Church Childcare Center, Inc. and Church Childcare Plus both 5-Star facilities. Theressa began her journey in the early childhood education field twenty plus years ago as a teacher throughout her high school and college years. After college, she operated a family childcare home for 7 years. Theressa had a dream and envisioned something much bigger in her early childhood career, when she expanded her family childcare home in 2005 and built a childcare facility in Walkertown, N.C. She currently overseas 30 employees and an enrollment of 185 students. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Winston- Salem State University in Business Administration in 1994 and her Master’s of Arts in Teaching in Birth-Kindergarten from Salem College in 2010. She serves on several local committees within the Forsyth County area. She is on the Provider Advisory Committee for Child Care Resource Center, Smart Start of Forsyth County Board of Directors, NC Pre- K Committee, NC Cooperative Extension Board, Kate B. Reynolds Advisory Board, serves as the Area Courtesies Chair for Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc., member of the National Association of University Women and also National Women of Achievement. Theressa is a compassionate and strong leader who spends much of her time advocating for equality and meeting the needs of families and children. She is the mother of four beautiful children, and she has been married 20 plus years.

Terrah Stephens

UR Agricore Board Member

Over the course of his career in the Transportation industry, he has gained a wealth of experience while working with Eaton Corporation, Qualcomm Inc. and currently serving as The Director of Customer Experience for Noregon Systems LLC. Located in Greensboro NC. Twenty plus years of experience operating as the liaison between sales, engineering, and customers, with a strong track record of working with customers to diagnose and resolve technical issues, solving performance problems and enabling computer technology to meet their needs. Consistently the face of the company. Terrah Stephens is also the VP at Church Childcare Center Systems LLC. He has four children and has been married for 20 plus years.

Felecia Bennett-Giles

UR Agri-Core Board Member

Feleica Bennett-Giles, MS is an energetic and passionate Program Manager III/Outreach Specialist for the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. Felecia loves to learn and educate others in her church, community and during presentations both large and small. As she continues to do all she can to help find a cure for Alzheimer’s Disease, she is building relationships and gaining the trust and support of the community she loves and serves. Felecia is quoted as saying, “Treat EVERYDAY like it is your last because one day, it will be.”

Yuvongala C. Howell

UR Agri-Core Board Member

Yuvongala C. Howell comes to us as a Health Administrator that is driven as a leader and innovator. She is actively taking on the challenge of leading to the next level. Over the course of her career in the healthcare field, she has gained a wealth of experience successfully managing teams and working with growing businesses. She has a strong track record for developing market strategies, increasing market share and profitability, and building highly productive teams. She has worked collaboratively with an executive team to ensure optimal performance at all levels. Community service and healthcare are her passion.

Shenidia Mitchell

UR Agri-Core Board Member

Shenedia Mitchell is the founder and Executive Director of Rosebuds, LLC, a national organization designed to assist women in accomplishing their full potential through conferences, workshops, small groups, seminars, and community service. She is a licensed and ordained minister who offers a unique approach to leadership development, performance coaching and organization development enables her to consistently inspire great results. Known for her personal touch, enthusiasm, her deep knowledge of people and organization systems, leaders turn to Shenedia for her insights and wisdom to help them find the root cause of problems and navigate through change. Since 2003, Shenedia has made an impact on hundreds of individuals across North Carolina and Virginia in her workshops, retreats, meetings, and one-on-one coaching sessions. She builds key capabilities in leadership, communication, conflict and change management, emotional intelligence and organizational goal alignment that ultimately form positive cultures and create high performing teams. She is passionate about helping individuals appreciate and leverage their strengths and differences to improve performance, manage conflict and achieve personal and professional success.

Terrence D. Mitchell

UR Agri-Core Board Member

Terence D. Mitchell is an entrepreneur and community leader. In 1999, he founded New Life Family Ministries, Inc., a community outreach program committed to seeing transformation in the lives of young people and their families through residential treatment and behavioral modification techniques. After four years of successful treatment services, in 2003 he started Alexander & Allen, LLC., a consulting and training company assisting new human service agencies with start-up, policies & procedures, staff training, and clinical documentation. Additionally, Terence is a licensed and ordained minister. For over 20 years he has been committed to seeing lives changed and transformed for the glory of God. He has a longstanding commitment to the community. Terence believes that involvement in his community is more than service, but a responsibility that affords us all a sense of belonging

Nikita D. Wallace

UR Agri-Core Board Member

“We live in a world where appearance means everything. It’s an expression of personality, of who you are and style. There is an art to style, putting garments together; the right outfit for the right occasion.” Sharp in practical matters and a responsible businesswoman, Nikita Wallace, CEO and Creative of Audacity, and Founder of Winston Salem Fashion Week, has been a personal designer/stylist for several prominent clients. She has organized and assisted in numerous fashion productions. The latest of many is Winston Salem Fashion Week. WSFW was established in 2015 and has vastly become a premier event for many. Nikita has made lasting impressions by inspiring women to look and feel beautiful, sexy, and still powerful. She has assisted in production shows for top designers and has styled many of the industry’s top models for Manalé, Kirstie Kelly, Rista Rose, B Michael, Donna Karen, Baby Phat and Phat Farm, FUBU and many top designers and magazines. In 2007, Nikita created Audacity, a production company designing tees and jeans, skirts, for all body types, mainly for the curved body frame. Audacity’s collection consisted of classic, timeless, yet sexy pieces. Audacity is now a production company that focuses on highlighting designers and emerging designers, that provides them an opportunity to showcase in local and smaller venues as opposed to primary markets. Prior to starting Audacity, Nikita attended North Carolina A&T State University majoring in business and fashion. After college, she was a successful businesswoman in the corporate world. In 2002, she decided upon a career change.

Anna Jolly

UR Agri-Core Board Member

My name is Anna Jolly. I am a graduate of RJ Reynolds High School. I graduated from North Carolina Central University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2018 and Masters in Public Administration in 2020. I am currently a Rating Service Representative for the Department of Veteran Affairs. During my free time I like to plant trees around the community and study plants and herbs that can help save the environment. I have helped plant trees in the city of Winston Salem for thirteen years. I believe plants and herbs are key to saving the world and saving lives of individuals.
